Courtyard Cottages are ideally located for exploring Herefordshire. Ledbury is around 7 miles away, offering shops, supermarkets, restaurants and museums, while Much Marcle is just 3.5 miles away and popular for weddings at local venues. The M50 (Junction 2) is within easy reach.
There are excellent pubs nearby, including the Butcher's Arms and Crown Inn at Woolhope, with further options in Much Marcle, Fownhope and Ledbury. The area is surrounded by scenic walking routes, with the Malvern Hills, Ross-on-Wye and the cathedral city of Hereford all within easy driving distance.

We are approximately 4 miles from the historic Hellens Manor in Much Marcle, which is open from Easter to the end of September.
The cathedral is open between 10 am and 5 pm. The Cathedral Cafe, Shop and Mappa Mundi & Chained Library Exhibition are open Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm.
You can take the Kingfisher river cruise in the Forest of Dean and then enjoy lunch or tea in one of the cafes or restaurants.
You can go canoeing on the River Wye at Lucksall just outside Fownhope. On site is the Riverside Bar & Eatery.
